Laguna Beach Engagement Session
Hello Frozen Frame Brides and welcome back to the blog! Today’s post is a Laguna Beach engagement session at the very interesting and beautiful Victoria beach pirate tower. I had never been to the Pirate Tower before and thought it would be the coolest backdrop for a beach engagement shoot. Turns out I was right! This tower was sooo cool to see in person after seeing it on the internet. the lighting and the weather were just great for this session!
As one of Orange County’s hidden treasures, I had to visit! Located in the heart of Laguna Beach, Victoria Beach Pirate tower has an interesting history. Built in 1926, it served as an enclosed staircase down to the seaside by a Los Angeles Senator. In the 1940s, the property was sold to another man who was a retired naval officer. He was a pirate enthusiast and used to dress up as a pirate and entertain the local kids. over the years, the property was sold many times over, but the appeal of the tower still remains drawing crowds, families and photographer alike.
These two are really in love and you can feel that through the photos. They made my job way easier by just naturally falling into the poses and kept me laughing the whole time! I am very happy that an old friend of mine has found her other half and they are gettting married next month. I cannot wait to shoot their intimate backyard wedding in Huntington Beach! Stay tuned for their wedding as I am so excited to share it!
that smile on her face says it all!
see you back for the wedding. Cheers babes!
